Dear handball friends, athletes, guests, officials

It is a question of honour, acknowledgment and esteem for the Bulgarian Handball Federation and for the athletes and officials in Bulgaria to be awarded the 2010 European M18/W18 Beach Handball Championships.

We extend out warm welcome to all participants and here, in Bulgaria, we will meet with the traditional bread and salt all those who will visit country between 16 and 18 July 2010.

Bulgaria, the Black Sea, the Bulgarian resorts and especially Albena are well-known for their hospitality, golden sands, pure sea waters, modern hotels, excellent communication, well-established infrastructure and outstanding cuisine. All these factors will turn the European Beach Handball Championship into a celebration for the European youth with spectacular matches, fair play, surprises and excursions for the participants.

I hope the young men and women will display their utmost capabilities and skills in a number of challenging matches.

On behalf of the Bulgarian Handball Federation I extent our gratitude for your attention and interest in this handball event in Bulgaria and look forward to our forthcoming meeting and the fun that awaits us in sunny Albena on the Black Sea coast.
